It is a mandatory part of your Afghanistan e-visa application. Without a valid LOI, your visa application will be rejected. What if my country has no Afghan embassy?
This is not a problem for the e-visa route. Because the Afghanistan e-visa is applied for and approved entirely online, you do not need a physical Afghan embassy in your country. What if my Afghanistan visa application is denied?

Do I need a return flight ticket to get an Afghanistan visa?
A confirmed return or onward flight ticket is recommended and may be requested during the e-visa application process. It demonstrates your intention to leave before your visa expires. If you have not yet booked your flights, a provisional flight itinerary (available free from most airlines) is usually sufficient. Can I work in Afghanistan on a tourist visa?
No. A tourist visa does not permit you to work, conduct business negotiations, or generate income in Afghanistan. It is strictly for leisure and cultural travel.
