Tour Overview

Eight days on a fully overland loop through Kabul, Mazar-i-Sharif and Bamiyan, with no domestic flights involved. The route crosses the Salang and Tashqurghan passes to ancient Balkh and the Blue Mosque of Mazar, then continues over the Shebar Pass to Bamiyan for Gholghola, the Buddhas, Band-e-Amir and the Dragon Valley. The final days return to Kabul for the National Museum, the old bird market and the Paghman Valley.
