Tour Overview
Eight days combining the monuments of Herat with the valleys of Bamiyan. From Kabul a flight west reaches Herat for the citadel, minarets, Friday Mosque and the Khwaja Abdullah Ansari Shrine; after the return flight, the route continues overland over the Haji-Gak Pass to Bamiyan. A full day covers Gholghola, the Buddhas, Band-e-Amir and the Dragon Valley before the drive back to Kabul.
