Tour Overview
Fourteen days across six provinces, mixing domestic flights with overland travel. From Kabul the route flies west to Herat for the citadel, minarets and Friday Mosque, drives to Kandahar via stops in Farah and Helmand, and flies back to Kabul. The second half heads north over the Salang Pass through Samangan and Takht-e-Rostam to Mazar-i-Sharif and ancient Balkh, then crosses to Bamiyan for the Buddhas and Band-e-Amir before returning to Kabul.
