Tour Overview
Eleven days across five provinces, combining flights and overland legs. From Kabul the tour flies to Herat for the citadel, minarets and shrines, drives to Kandahar for the Shrine of the Cloak, the Tomb of Ahmad Shah Durrani and Chihilzina, then flies back to Kabul. It continues north over the Salang Pass to Mazar-i-Sharif and ancient Balkh before crossing the Shebar Pass to Bamiyan for the Buddhas, Band-e-Amir and the Dragon Valley.
