Tour Overview
A 10-day route that begins at the Sher-Khan border crossing from Tajikistan and ends at Kabul Airport. The northern leg covers the Blue Mosque of Mazar-i-Sharif and the mosques, tombs and ruins of ancient Balkh before the drive south over the Salang Pass to Kabul. A flight then connects Kabul with Herat and its citadel, minarets and Friday Mosque, followed by the road to Kandahar and the Mosque of the Sacred Cloak, and a flight back to Kabul.
